For the first time in ASEAN history, the ASEAN People’s Award has been awarded to an individual or a group or a company from each ASEAN country for their tireless and earnest efforts to the building of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in their respective country. Parami Roundtable Group has won the Award for Myanmar. U Pyi Wa Tun (Ken Tun), the CEO and the Chairman of the Parami Energy Group of Companies, who has founded the Group, attended the ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and received the award. The Polytechnic of Singapore and the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) established by the son of the Prime Minister Mr. Hun Sen and other award winners also attended the summit and received the award respectively.

အာဆီယံ ျပည္သူ႔ ဂုဏ္ျပဳဆု (ASEAN Peoples’ Award) သည္ အာဆီယံ အသိုက္အ၀န္း တည္ေထာင္ေရးတြင္ မိမိႏုိင္ငံအတြက္ အမ်ဳိးသားေရးစိတ္ဓာတ္ တက္ၾကြစြာ ႀကိဳးပမ္းပါ၀င္ ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့ၾကသည့္ အာဆီယံ အဖဲြ႕၀င္ႏုိင္ငံ တစ္ႏုိင္ငံခ်င္းစီမွွ လူပုဂၢိဳလ္/ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားကို ဂုဏ္ျပဳ ခ်ီးျမွင့္သည့္ ဆုျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ယင္းအာဆီယံ ျပည္သူ႔ ဂုဏ္ျပဳဆု (ASEAN Peoples’ Award)ကို ျမန္မာႏုိင္ငံမွ ပါရမီစားပဲြ၀ိုင္းအဖဲြ႕ (Parami Roundtable Group) တည္ေထာင္သည့္ ပါရမီစြမ္းအင္ ကုမၸဏီမ်ားအုပ္စု CEO ဦးျပည့္၀ထြန္းက တက္ေရာက္ လက္ခံရယူခဲ့ပါသည္။ ယင္းအခမ္းအနားသို႔ စင္ကာပူႏုိင္ငံမွ Polytechnic ၊ ကေမာၻဒီးယားႏုိင္ငံ ၀န္ႀကီးခ်ဳပ္ ဟြန္ဆန္၏သား တည္ေထာင္ထားေသာ Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) ႏွင့္ အျခား အာဆီယံ အဖဲြ႕၀င္ႏိုင္ငံမ်ားမွ ေရြးခ်ယ္ခံရသူမ်ား တက္ေရာက္၍ ဆုလက္ခံရ ယူခဲ့ေၾကာင္း သိရွိရပါသည္။
